Executive Team

The President graduated from Claremont Graduate University with an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA). She has up to 30 years of experience working with private security firms. She specializes in working with government contracts and cost-effective custom security programs. She is a certified mediator by the City of Los Angeles, City Attorney’s Office and has vast experience in resolving difficult business disputes. The President has received numerous awards and recognition with various Councilman, Congressman, and City Mayors. Her experiences include Human Resources, Administrative Management, Marketing Development, Operations, and Staffing & Accounts coordination.  The President’s duty is to make all executive decisions for the company, including those in direction, hiring, clientele, and business. She is the main point of contact for all contracts including those for both municipal and private sectors. She is also an honorary school board member at a local private school.

For the previous several years, the AIS Chief of Operations was the Chief of Police for one of the largest police departments in the San Gabriel Valley and served as law enforcement for over 30 years. He worked a variety of assignments including gang and narcotic investigations, SWAT, and a variety of administrative duties, including internal affairs.  Additionally, he  proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for years.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Supervision and a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership.  He is also a graduate of FBI National Academy #244 and completed the Sherman Block Leadership Institute Class #121. As an educator, the Chief of Operations continues to work as an adjunct professor at local colleges. He remains an active member of the FBI National Academy Association and has been retained as an expert witness in police practices/procedures in both state and federal court. As Chief of Operations for AIS, he will personally oversee all aspects of our company’s security services operations, the creation of an elite diplomatic security team, and the development/implementation of curriculum for our in-house security training school. As well as all aspects of the Operations Department including managerial oversight of our guards and their command and support staff; implementation of new and current policy, command structure, direction, and vision of Operations; and coordination and direction of this Department with other adjunct Departments within the Company as a whole to ensure and grow our continued success.

The Chief Legal Officer has over 17 years as a practicing trial attorney. He has taken numerous cases through jury verdict on both the plaintiff and defense sides in multi-million dollar lawsuits. His practice spans both civil and criminal cases in state and federal courts. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Southern California in 1998 and then went on to earn his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law's accelerated SCALE Program where he graduated at the top of his class. Throughout his long and distinguished career, the he has represented numerous police chiefs in the Southern California Area, police officers and deputies from numerous law enforcement agencies in Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura Counties as well as federal agents/officials from the Department of Homeland Security. The Chief Legal Officer oversees all legal matters pertaining to corporate, contract administration, and employment within the company.

The Director of Compliance is responsible for overseeing AIS’s robust compliance program.  The director came to AIS with over 35 years of security experience, and has held a number of administrative and operational positions throughout his career.  He has extensive knowledge on physical security systems (such as Network Systems, CCTV, Access Control, Lighting, Fencing, Barriers and Locking Hardware, as well as Integration and Fire-Life Safety Systems).  He is also well-versed in administrative operations, as he has held roles from managing Fleet and Fuel Programs and a Communications / Dispatch Center, monitoring Electronic Monitoring Systems, to developing Training modules. He has been certified by Los Angeles Fire Department’s Community Emergency Response Team and their Urban Search and Rescue Team. He has also been certified by Texas A&M and TEEX in Weapons of Mass Destruction. He has been Certified as an Emergency First Responder Instructor by PADI International.  Lastly, he holds certification on The Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogation. The Director of Compliance also served as a member of the security committee at the Los Angeles Union Station where he evaluated the security threats of rail systems throughout Los Angeles.  He was also a member of the National Association of Chiefs of Police (NAOCOP) and the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC).

Our Director of Human Resources is an accomplished professional with more than 20 years of human resources management, business management and teaching experience. She works tirelessly at refining company processes, policies and programs that support an inclusive environment for all. The Director of Human Resources serves as a member of the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program for children in the foster care system. She has held prominent positions related to Business Management, Human Resources Management and Staffing functions at several nonprofits and for-profit organizations. Additionally, she was a faculty member at the San Bernardino Community College District, where she has taught a variety of human resources management and diversity inclusion courses. She has earned a Doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership and a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and Human Resources Management. The Director of Human Resources works directly with the Compliance department to plan, develop, and deploy policies applicable to all departments within our organization. Additionally, our HR Director oversees our recruiting department and provides the necessary input to execute best practices for hiring and talent management. With an everchanging employment legal landscape in California, our Human Resources professional continually remains apprised of all current developments within her discipline that impacts our company’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

The Executive of Operations & Training is responsible for the development and management of AIS Training Center and employee screening. During his 6-year tour in the United States Army, he was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as a 19 Delta Cavalry Scout with a rank of Sergeant. The Executive of Operations & Training has been employed by agencies like the Orange Unified School District as a Criminal Justice Instructor, the Los Angeles World Airports Police Department, and the Los Angeles Police Department for patrol and training. In those departments he was rewarded the position of an FTO (Field Training Officer). His training and experience extends to a vast majority of P.O.S.T. Certify Courses in Law Enforcement, acquiring P.O.S.T. certificate from the Commission of Peace Officer Standards and Training with the Department of Justice. He is experienced as the project manager for large governmental contracts dealing with both armed and unarmed security officers.

The QA Manager plays a vital role in new business, damage control, threat assessments, post orders, risk management, and training. As a part of the Quality Assurance Department, he acts as the bridge between our officers and clients. He regularly performs site inspections to ensure that our officers understand their roles, duties, and responsibilities. He is experienced in providing site-specific retention training and constructing detailed Post Orders. As an instructor, he leads courses in the AIS Training Center that include OC Pepper Spray, Baton, and Active Shooter Emergency Response.

The Regional Manager is at the helm of the Operations Department at AIS. He has over 23 years of combined Military, Federal Service, and Corporate Security Management with an emphasis on training, recruiting, and customer service. He holds significant positions such as Commissioner for Veterans, Los Angeles County, 1st District and Assistant Director, and Army Reserve Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). He has managed staff levels of all sizes and brings experienced leadership to the team. He oversees the Operations Department, but also contributes to a variety of additional support functions including Human Resources, Marketing, Branding, Recruiting, Risk Management, Business Development, and Logistics. He has established National, State and County Veteran collaborative programs through community outreach and was awarded the “Call to Service” award by President Obama.

The Training Coordinator has 30 years of training in law enforcement and 17 years of experience in law enforcement. He received his training from the Rio Hondo Police Academy and is a trainer for BSIS approved training courses. During his time in law enforcement, he has won medals in the California Olympics and the World Police and fire games. He oversees the training of security officers and creates avenues to become a field supervisor. He is also responsible for strengthening client relationships and conducting incident investigations. The Training Coordinator regularly adapts his classes and training to fit specific job duties set forth by our clients. He is also responsible for teaching CPR, First Aid, Self Defense and many more certifications.

The Controller attended Cal Poly Pomona and Majored in Business Administration. She worked at ERS Security for 9 years before joining the AIS team. She oversees the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives. She is accountable for all periodic financial reports, bank reconciliations, corporate annual reports, and controlled cash flow for the company. The Controller oversees accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable and partial Accounts Payable. Organization of expenditures and receipts allow her keep AIS fiscally accountable and track overall finances to be in line with the company’s vision.

As the Finance Manager, she is responsible for the Company’s financial statements, budgeting, cash flow, cost analysis, tax filings, and overall general financial health of the Company. She received his BBA in Accounting. She has about 5 years of experience in Top 4 audit firms, 5 years in investment bank,3 years of finance and accounting experience with international companies. She got several investment licenses such as Securities Investment Trust and Consulting Professionals, Senior Securities Specialist, Structure product sales personnel as well as Basic Test on Financial Markets and Professional Ethics, she also has Laws and Regulations on Derivatives, etc.
